I bought one of these on Sunday and sent out the rebate yesterday. So far it's worked out nicely. Except none of the computers I use have a USB 2.0 so moving files is pretty damn slow. But it's faster then burning them onto disks...

I noticed that it seemed to be dual formated when I plugged it into the renderfarm at home, which means I could plug it into Bruce's G3!

The heroine is only 12, and she's living in an orphanage in England in the late Victorian age, and it's too cute for words. Great quality and design that reminds me of the ANNE OF GREEN GABLES and LITTLE WOMEN and even HEIDI animes of times past. Some CGI elements don't always work, but I give them credit for trying. I doubt it'll be licenced here in the states, and more's the shame. This is a show that little girls whould love.

I turned on the tv for some background noise and this was playing, at first I didn't notice the Oz accents and thought it was AT&T spokesthing Carrot Top. Which is strange because I remember once turning on the tv and seeing Eric Stoltz in MASK and thinking it was also Carrot Top. Maybe we need a remake of MASK with Carrot Top. Or better still, Carrot Top and Yahoo Serious in a fight to the death...

I'll give Yahoo Serious credit, he's pretty good at physical comedy. And he's certainly more likeable then I remember him. If only he was teamed up with a straight man I think he'd break into Hollywood.
